What do I need to know or do before a Technician comes to my home?

There are a few key details to ensure everything goes as smoothly and quickly as possible on the day of your installation.

Someone 18 years of age or older must be present during the installation.

Please secure any pets before our technician arrives to ensure their safety and minimize disruptions.

Ensure both the outside and inside areas where the technician will work are accessible and free of obstacles.

Provide access to an electrical outlet inside the building for router placement.

If you’re in a rental property, please make sure you have permission from your landlord prior to the technician’s arrival.

What kind of equipment will be installed?

We are excited to bring you all of the equipment necessary to bring you internet connectivity. Here are a few things to expect at installation:

Outdoor Equipment Installation

The technician will install equipment outdoors, which might include a roof-mount receiver or possibly a pole, depending on what’s needed for the best signal.

Cabling

Cables will be secured on the outside of the building and routed inside to connect the outdoor antenna to the indoor router.

Indoor Router Setup

The router will be set up indoors, with power and Ethernet connections as needed for your specific configuration.

App and Device Assistance

The technician will help with setting up passwords, connecting devices, and registering the Wisper Home App.

Receive timely messages and alerts to know when devices connect to your network, any service issues, and network intrusions.

Create custom profiles for everyone in your home, assign devices to them, and create schedules or time limits to turn on or off internet access.

Restrict or allow entire categories of the internet, specific apps, and individual websites

Protect all devices on your WiFi network through our advanced security, including viruses, malicious websites, and network intrusions.
